EU Camera Radio & Cybersecurity Checklist

An older radio report is not a complete current EU order file.

The European Commission states that Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/30 activates cybersecurity, personal-data protection and privacy requirements for certain radio equipment from 1 August 2025. Applicability depends on the product and market placement.

The Commission has since adopted Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/339 (dated 16 February 2026, published 29 April 2026), which repeals 2022/30 to avoid overlap with the Cyber Resilience Act, Regulation (EU) 2024/2847. One public summary gives 11 December 2027 as the repeal date. Check the current legal text and the date that applies to your order.
